Jeff
CEO

Jeffrey Heferle is the founder, owner, and Chief Executive Officer of Heferle’s Landscaping LLC. He is responsible for making the major decisions, managing the executive team, coordinating the overall resources, and being the public face of the company. Jeff believes that passion, teamwork, steadfast dedication, learning and phenomenal customer service are what makes the company standout from its peers. Outside of the company, he works as a Financial Analyst at Citigroup and serves in the United States Air Force Reserve as an Emergency Management [CBRN] Airman. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management: Finance, a political science minor, and an economics minor from Case Western Reserve University. Jeff attributes much of the company’s success to his education, experience, client devotion, and a growth-oriented mindset. He wouldn’t be where he is today without his top-notch management team, his dedicated employees, and his committed clients.

Dana
President

Dana Strycharz is the President of Heferle’s Landscaping LLC. She is the second-in-command, responsible for managing the Vice Presidents, executing the day-to-day company operations, and implementing the policies set forth by the CEO. Dana believes that client satisfaction and clear lines of communication is the most important part of what makes the company so unique. Dana has been with the company from ground-zero, doing everything she can to help the business. Whether it was facilitating the purchase of tools from a garage sale, creating marketing campaigns, taking incoming phone calls, she has done what it takes. In Jeff’s absence due to military deployment, she ran and led the company. With her leadership, and steadfast dedication, she continues to bring the company to new heights while ensuring client satisfaction above all else. She is dedicated to continuing her own professional growth by taking multiple social media marketing classes and being enrolled to become a Landscape Industry Certified Manager which she will complete in 2022. She holds an Associates in Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene from Erie Community College. Also, from ECC, she has completed credits towards an Associates in Business Management. Dana has lived in Hamburg her entire life. Along with being a devoted President, she is also a devoted wife and mother of 2.

Vice President of Finance

Sales Manager

Jack Strycharz is the Vice President of Finance who oversees all financial matters for our company including accounting, payroll, supply-chain, and purchasing. In addition to his Finance role, he is also the Human Resource Manager in which he leads and directs hiring, interviewing, pay, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policy. Jack is a self-starter who appreciates the grind of work that comes with a quickly growing service business. He loves the sociability of his role when he gets to interact with other businesses and our clients. Jack joined the company in 2021 as a financial manager. In this position, he was able to show exquisite financial minded thinking, and was able to always keep a smile on our clients faces. In Jeff’s absence, he helped Dana in running and leading the company. With his level-headed, logical thought process, he was able to bring great financial success for the company. Jack continues to create tremendous value for the company and our clients, always keeping the financial implication in mind. Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo.

Brad
Vice President of Operations

Brad Dunz is the Vice President of Operations. He is responsible for maximizing operational efficiency through planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing of operation activities including the management of all operation employees, in accordance with company policy. Brad’s purpose comes from being a part of something bigger than himself. He loves to be part of the growth of the company. Every morning, he looks forward to that first hot cup of joe. Brad loves the outdoors and all seasons of the year. In his free time, you can catch him on the slopes. Brad started with the company in the summer of 2020 as a landscape technician. His exquisite skill in landscaping and his management capability led to his promotion to landscape supervisor. After further refining and developing his skills in 2021, he earned multiple promotions, leading to his current position as Vice President of Operations. Throughout these past few years, he has served in many different capacities where the company has needed him like sales. He is currently in training to become a Landscape Industry Certified Technician which he will complete in 2022.

Dan
Sales Project Manager

Dan Preston is the Sales Project Manager who is responsible for creating and implementing strategies to grow the client base. He conducts estimates, produces innovative landscape/hardscape designs, and manages large-scale projects. Dan appreciates the challenge of difficult projects within the landscaping industry that keep him on his toes. With a keen eye for detail, he enjoys creating and implementing designs to make clients dreams a reality. For him, the most rewarding part of the process is the surprise and joy clients have at the completion of a project. Dan joined the company in January 2021. He brings with him an incredibly strong portfolio with over 15 years of experience in the landscaping industry. He has designed, built, and managed over 150 projects which include pavers, retaining walls, water features, outdoor living spaces, raised gardens, irrigation, drainage, excavation, and greenhouse installation to name a few. Dan holds a Diploma in Environmental Horticulture from Augusta Technical College in Georgia.

Paul
Lawn Care Supervisor

Paul Jaroszynski is a lawn care supervisor who manages the production, equipment, and operations for lawn care services and treatments. Paul believes that in order to truly satisfy a client, he has to make their lawn look spectacular. Every morning, he looks forward to firing up his mower and getting his crew ready to go. He loves to learn, teach, and expand on his skills. Paul joined the company in early 2021 as a lawn care technician. He has earned a promotion to lawn care supervisor after showing great operational ability and leadership qualities. He is currently in training to become a licensed commercial drone pilot (FAA Part 107), a New York Commercial Pesticide Technician, and a Landscape Industry Certified Lawn Care Manager. He has taken courses like Principles of Turfgrass Management and earned credits through the University of Georgia’s Turfgrass Management and Gardening department. Finally, he has taken courses like the Pesticide Training course through Cornell University.

Snow Plow Operator
Lawn Care Operator

Brandon is a snowplow operator in the winter, and a lawn care technician the rest of the year. In his role as a snowplow operator, he is responsible for driving and operating the snowplow to clear residential driveways and commercial parking lots. As a lawn care technician, he is responsible for the maintenance of lawns and landscapes for both commercial and residential customers. Brandon believes that keeping the client happy is the most important part of the job. Brandon joined the company in the fall of 2021. He brought great experience into his role, serving the town of Cheektowaga through their lawn care division and years of independent plowing experience. Through his killer work ethic and expertise, he continues to put his best foot forward, providing clients with a great finished product and a smile.

Ryan
Social Media Manager

Ryan is a social media manager who monitors, executes, filters, and measures the social media presence of our company. Ryan believes that work should possess an open-minded, sports team atmosphere. He looks forward to the challenges that come with being a social media manager and the constant experience he gains. He is motivated by being able to help the company grow and being part of the evolution of the business. Ryan joined the company in the summer of 2021. He brought with him tremendous experience having managed multiple business’ social medias and twitter pages. Outside of work, Ryan truly loves coaching. He is professionally licensed in 4 interscholastic athletics – football, hockey, baseball, and soccer – in grades 7th through 12th. He also has owned his own small business for over 17 years. Ryan holds a BS in Psychology with a minor in Sports Medicine and Theology from St. Bonaventure University. He has professional training in Advanced Prevention & Care Injuries, Emergency Response Training, and First Aid/CPR.
