Mobile Petting Zoo

Family owned and operated petting zoo and pony rides. We bring the zoo and/or pony rides to you! We cater to small, medium, and large events. From birthday parties to state fairs, stage, commercials, and more.

We bring the zoo to you! After an initial consult, we can determine what animals and fencing would best suit your event. We then bring the animals, fencing, and anything else necessary.
We have two basic Zoo packages to choose from, Bear’s Barnyard & Barney’s Barnyard, named after our Pomeranian and Saint Bernard respectively. We know there are not just two perfectly sized zoo packages for every event and customize zoos regularly. So, look at these packages as starting points and let us customize a zoo for you. For this reason, we bid each zoo individually.   

Important Information applicable to all Mobile Petting Zoos

  1. We charge a flat rate to you, our customer, so all your guests are admitted to the zoo free of charge. 
  2. All petting zoos are a minimum of 2 hours long.
  3. We bring our own fencing, and sometimes decorations, for the zoo.
  4. We reserve the right to substitute animals as necessary.
  5. Since we are not a full-time traveling road show, we have travel expenses we must pass through to you, the customer.
  6. We are required to charge sales tax, where applicable, and do so unless presented with a valid tax-exempt form prior to the sales contract and deposit being submitted.
  7. While we are a fun and entertaining attraction, we also provide education.
  8. Events are considered “Booked” and secured on our calendar after we have received both the signed contract and the 50% deposit.

Bear's Barnyard

Bear’s Barnyard allows free admission to all guests and is recommended for small gatherings such as birthday parties or groups of up to 15 people. Includes an assortment of ten animals based on availability and at DSS Backyard Events discretion: bunnies, chickens, goats, sheep, and a pig. $250/First hour. 50/Each additional hour. Daily rates also available. Travel charges apply.

Barney's Barnyard

Barney’s Barnyard allows free admission to all guests and is recommended for events ranging from family reunions and company picnics, weddings, church events and festivals, as well as schools and fairs. Includes an assortment of 15+ animals based on availability and at DSS Backyard Events discretion: bunnies, chickens, goats, sheep, llama, alpaca, pig, mini horse and mini donkey. $450/First hour. $250/Each additional hour. Daily rates also available. Travel charges apply.

  • Additional Animals each come with their individual fencing, as applicable, and can be added Ala Carte to any package and are priced as follows:  
  • Frog, Bunny, or Chicken: $25
  • Goat: $50
  • Sheep or Pig: $75
  • Alpaca or Llama: 00
  • Mini Horse or Pony: 00
  • Mini Donkey: 00 
  • Coming Soon: Ducks, Geese, and Cow
  • Bottle fed babies available seasonally
